Scholarship Information:   Please read the information below carefully.  Then scroll down to complete the first part of the application. When you are done with the application press submit and then proceed to Part A if you are a visual arts student or Part B if you are a music student.
 
  •   Submit the application and essay online. Your application must be received by 6PM on     March 31, 2012.
  • We will communicate with you via your email. Please list a valid email address and check it often in early April.  We also need your primary phone number.
  •   Interviews and auditions will take place on Sunday, April 15, 2102 starting at 2PM. If  you are chosen for an interview, you will be asked to perform or submit samples of your work.The location will be announced in late March.  Your audition time will also be announced at that time.
  •   A total of three scholarships will be awarded; $1500, $1500, $1000
  Scholarship Guidelines:  Only seniors at Duluth High School or home-schooled seniors residing in Duluth are eligible for this scholarship.  Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen and must be a Duluth resident (zip code of 30096 or 30097).

  Applicants must be entering a 2 or 4 year college or university and (a copy of your college acceptance letter must be provided to us before April 15 pursuing a degree in:

  • Visual Art (includes photography and graphic art)
  • Instrumental Music
  • Vocal Chorus
  Family members of officers or directors of DFAL cannot apply.
