Welcome 2012
Duluth Fine Arts League is excited to usher in the new year as we have so many
exciting projects to accomplish. We meet the third Wednesday night of each month at
the Duluth Art Gallery located in historic downtown Duluth. Be sure to check our
website for monthly updates and more details. You can also sign up for a monthly
newsletter that will keep you informed.
Coming in March 2012 is the annual Duluth READS. Get your copy of When the Finch
Rises and join other Duluth citizens in events that are connected to the story and
author.
We organize several events throughout the year that are free to the public. Twice a year
we host fundraiser events to support the Duluth High School Scholarship Program as
well as to help us fund future free events. The two fundraising events for 2012 will be
an Outdoor Garden Art Tour in June and the 4th Annual Arts at Twilight Gala in July.
One does not have to be an artist to participate in the Duluth Fine Arts League (DFAL).
The only requirement DFAL has for membership is one must enjoy the arts. Please give
us a try and meet other active members. The volunteers in DFAL enjoy the events and
projects and I think you will too!
